Nightmare on 105 Street

hosted by DiaryLand.com

Last night I had the freakiest dream ever. It's hard to explain it all, but I'll give the base details:

So I was dancing with a guy at the bar, and then we left. We were driving in a car, then the police started chasing after us, so instead of pulling over, we ran into a casino or something, and then we got out, and went and snuck into a show then when it was time to leave the attendant asked if we would like to see another show, so we said yes, because we were scared the police were still chasing after us. The attendant dropped up off at the next show. (there was something in here about drinking punch, and walking through a mall, but it was a very wierd dream, so I don't quite remember) Anyway, when we left the police were still after us, we thought, so we broke into an apartment and locked ourselves in. The AFT (whatever that american agency is) was outside with the FBI telling us to come out, and we were refusing. That's when the guy told me he was going to die in two days when the water in the apartment got two inches deep. That's when I noticed the water in the apartment, and it was slowly getting deeper. After two days the ATF was going to break in, and so I went outside the window (it was on the 60h story or something wierd like that) and crawled along a wire up to the apartment above (the penthouse). The guy I was with says he is not dead because he is not in the right apartment, so he comes up with me to the apartment above. I actually have to save him. Oh yeah, there were three or four other people wtih us, that had joined with us while we were at the show, followers of this guy. So I broke into the apartment above, and there were to ladies who lived there, and they were scared of us, but we convinced them to join our cult (for lack of better word). We stayed upstairs and heard the ATF breaking into the apartment below and wondering where we were. We knew we had mad a clean escape. But the water was starting to collect on the floor in the apartment above as well. And befoere long that apartment was full of water, and I everyone was drowning, and I was drowning but I coudln't die, it was just hurting and my breathing was wierd and I was scared and drowning, and people were grabbing for me trying to pull me down, and I was at the roof of the apartment trying to find some air, and I couldn't... when suddenly I burst out above the top of the water. I sucked my breath in deeply and could breathe. I was gasping, when I started looking around when I noticed that there were a few other people around gasping for air as well, but pretty much everyone else was dead, and there were bodies floating everywhere. I was so scared, I met up with a group of people (I swam over to them because most of the world was somehow covered in water) and they were talking about being the only survivors, how there were only a few people left, that many others had disappeared and that armageddon was upon us. They were all talking about being able to still come to terms with God because they were still alive. There were bodies floating everywhere though, and one brushed against me.... That's when I woke up!

The house, the neighbourhood, everything was dead quiet, so much so and the dream was so real that I thought it had acually happened (you know how that is those super realistic dreams that make no sense but feel like they are really happening). I was scared that I was the only person left alive (it sounds silly now, but felt so real then). I actually didn't go back to sleep til after 6 when Kevin came on the radio. I dozed off and on, but didn't sleep til after 6. I was totally freaked out. Wierd huh! I'm sure Freud would have a lot to say about that one too huh. Good thing he's not around to analyze my dreams.

I wonder though, whatever happened to those wonderful flying dreams I used to have where I would teach other people how to fly. I love that dream.

I also hated the dream where I was being chased by Nazis. So I'm glad I don't have that one anymore.

With that said... its way past bedtime.

I work tomorrow and Sunday at Blockbuster. I hope that I get lots of subbing jobs next week. Then the week after I drive to Yellowknife for Christmas. I'm amazed at how quick Christmas is approaching.
